Top 10 most valuable Indian companies 2025: India, currently the fifth-largest economy in the world, is experiencing significant growth and is projected to become the third-largest economy by 2030.

The expansion of the country’s most valuable companies is a significant factor in this economic advancement, as they achieve impressive sales and profits, which in turn boost their market valuations and capitalisations, establishing them as some of the most valuable companies.

Despite a downturn in the Sensex and Nifty indices on Wednesday—driven by ongoing foreign fund withdrawals and global trade concerns—some of India’s largest firms showed resilience.

PTI reports indicate that the combined market capitalization of six of the top ten firms in India rose by ₹1,18,151.75 crore last week, led by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, and Reliance Industries.

Noteworthy performers in this group include HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel, alongside Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, Infosys, and Bajaj Finance—a new addition in this year’s edition.

A standout performer in this group is Bajaj Finance, which saw its market capitalization surge from ₹29,032.08 crore to ₹524,312.82 crore, securing its position as the 10th most valuable company and surpassing LIC.

However, not all firms fared well. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), State Bank of India, Hindustan Unilever, and ITC collectively lost ₹1.15 lakh crore in valuation.
