2024 Hurun’s India Under 35 Young Entrepreneurs List: India is witnessing a surge of young, innovative entrepreneurs who are reshaping the country’s business outlook, establishing enterprises, and contributing significantly to the nation’s economic growth with their fresh ideas, determination, and innovative spirit.
According to the recently released 2024 Hurun India Under35s, about 82% of the entrants are first-generation leaders, with an average age of 33 years.

Mamaearth’s co-founder, Ghazal Alagh, 35, has successfully led her startup to become a publicly listed company.
Additionally, Alakh Pandey (32), the founder of ed-tech Physics Wallah, and Aakash Ambani (32), the Chairman of Reliance Infocomm, also feature on the list.
From the industry perspective, interestingly, financial services has emerged as the leading sector, featuring 21 entrepreneurs, while software & services followed closely with 14 entrepreneurs.

Overall, service-orientated companies dominate India’s startup outlook, making up 59% of the entire list.
Top 10 Young Entrepreneurs in India, as of 2024
Ankush Sachdeva, a 31-year-old IIT Kanpur graduate and CEO of ShareChat, a leading social media app in India, leads the list. Founded by Sachdeva, Bhanu Pratap Singh, and Farid Ahsan, the app targets users through social media marketing.
Following Sachdeva are Neetish Sarda (31) and Harsh Binani (35) co-founded Smartworks, a managed office solution for companies and MNCs. The company assists entrepreneurs in establishing high-quality workspaces for their employees at affordable costs.
The 2024 Hurun India Under-35 list acknowledges 150 under-35 entrepreneurs, with 123 (82%) of total entrants being first-generation leaders with a business valuation of $50 million, and $100 million for the next-gen leaders.
