Despite the recent tariff hike, both Airtel and Jio continue to offer unlimited 5G access to their users. However, with new plans in place, 5G is only being offered on recharge plans that offer at least 2 GB of 4G data per day; otherwise, one needs to buy an additional voucher to access the 5G network on plans with 1 GB or 1.5 GB of 4G data per day.
Here are some of the best recharge plans from Airtel and Jio that offer access to the unlimited 5G network in 2024:
Jio’s Rs 349 plan with 28 days of validity is currently the most affordable plan in the country with free 5G data. Similarly, Airtel has a plan for Rs 379, which offers 30 days of validity along with 5G data. These are clearly the best monthly plans that are cheap and offer 5G data.
Airtel’s Rs 649 recharge plan with 56 days of validity offers unlimited 5G for two months. Jio also has a similar plan for Rs 629, which also offers 56 days of validity, 2 GB of 4G data per day along with unlimited 5G access. Jio users can also opt for the Rs 719 plan with 70 days of validity with 2 GB of 4G data and unlimited 5G data.
Jio’s Rs 999 plan with 98 days of validity is one of the most valuable plans with 5G data access, which also offers 2 GB of 4G data. A similar plan from Airtel costs Rs 979 with the same 2 GB 4G data per day and unlimited 5G benefits; however, Airtel’s plan only offers 84 days of validity.
The most affordable plan from Airtel with 5G data and 365 days of validity costs Rs 3,599, which offers 2 GB of 4G data per day, whereas Jio’s annual plan also costs Rs 3,599 with 2.5 GB of 4G data per day along with unlimited 5G data. Both Airtel and Jio also have a much cheaper annual plan for Rs 1,999, and Rs 1,899, respectively; however, these plans do not offer access to 5G data, and 4G data is limited to just 24 GB for the whole period.
