The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is a mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion company that is the largest in the world.

UFC now has over 250 fighters under contract, and it hosts over 40 events per year.

However, the idea of Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg fighting in the UFC has been dubbed as ‘the biggest ever in the history of the world’ by UFC president Dana White.

The two tech giants have both spoken to White after a conversation via their social media platforms.

“I was talking to both Elon and Mark last night,’ White told TMZ. “Both guys are absolutely dead serious about this. They both want to do it.”

“Mark Zuckerberg hit me up first and said: ‘Is he serious?’

“And I said, ‘I don’t know, let me ask him,’ and I asked him and he said, ‘yeah, I’m dead serious.’

If the two tech billionaires to go on to face each other in a ‘cage match,’ it could be worth $1 billion in total revenue, White told TMZ.

Incidentally, Zuckerberg has also competed in his first jiu-jitsu competition last month and also trained with UFC prospects in the build-up.

It all started when Musk, who owns Twitter, responded to a tweet about Meta reportedly preparing to release a new Twitter rival called “Threads.”

He took a dig about the world becoming “exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options” — but then one Twitter user jokingly warned Musk of Zuckerberg’s jiu jitsu training. “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol,” Musk wrote late Tuesday.

Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook and Instagram parent company Meta Platforms, soon responded — and appeared to agree to Musk’s proposal. “Send me location,” Zuckerberg wrote.
