1936 hrs IST: An excellent Root reduces the equation to just 1 needed off the last 12 balls. What an emphatic win this will be for England. Bumrah to bowl the second last over

1933 hrs IST: Couple of extra runs and then two couple from Joe Root. England need 10 runs off 16 balls to take the lead in this three-match T20I series. Has been a disappointing day for India in the field

1930 hrs IST: Joe Root is bowled off the free-hit as well. Bumrah with another perfect yorker. But no wicket. England need 16 runs off the last 18 balls. Ashish Nehra to bowl now

1928 hrs IST: Jasprit Bumrah castles Joe Root with a good ball but he has crossed the line. Will be called a no-ball and Root will be called back. Free-hit for England as well

1924 hrs IST: Just a mere formality now. Ben Stokes is the new man in for England, with them needng only 19 runs off 24 balls. Indian spinners have bowled out. Jasprit Bumrah has the ball in hand

1832 hrs IST: WICKET! Jason Roy b Yuzvender Chahal. Good response from Chahal after the six. Tosses it up again on the off side and Roy gets a inside edge on the legs that then goes on to the stumps. Roy goes

1831 hrs IST: SIX! Jason Roy has no mercy! He welcomes Chahal with a six over square-leg. Big big six. Nothing bad with the delivery but just great sweep from Roy

1819 hrs IST: The first overs costs India four runs. Nice start for them. Couple of early wickets and India will be right back in this. Jasprit Bumrah will share the new ball from the other end for India

1816 hrs IST: Ashish Nehra begins with a dot ball to Roy. This should not be a tricky chase for England as they have a good batting line-up. Early wickets will be crucial for both teams

1813 hrs IST: India players on the field to defend the 148-run target. England openers are Jason Roy and Sam Billings. Roy was destructive in the ODIs. Can he do the same for England in the T20Is?

1805 hrs IST: That was a great bowling effort from England and they restrict India to just 147 for 7 in the 20 overs. 10 runs off the last over But Dhoni really not going in the last over. He tried going for the big shots but could not connect

1731 hrs IST: WICKET! Manish Pandey lbw Moeen Ali. This is trouble for India. Fifth wicket falls with India not even cross the 100-run mark. Still six overs to play. Pandey trying to play it on the on-side, misses it completely and is hit in front of the wickets

1730 hrs IST: 10 runs and a wicket from the Ben Stokes over. India are 98 for the loss of four wickets after 13 overs. MS Dhoni and Manish Pandey the two batsmen for India out in the middle

1726 hrs IST: WICKET! Suresh Raina b Ben Stokes. Raina moving too much across and Stokes with a perfect yorker to hit his leg-stump. Kanpur in stunned but Raina has to go. India lose fourth wicket

1716 hrs IST: WICKET! Yuvraj Singh c Rashid b Plunkett! Plunkett strikes first ball as well. Yuvraj gets across and gets a top edge that goes way high up in the air. Rashid runs back and plunges to take a good catch. They are checking it if he has taken it cleanly. Looks like a clean catch. Out
