This time BJP had an edge over others in Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. While in Jharkhand, BJP has scored off 12 seats out of 14, in Himachal Pradesh it routed ruling Congress by winning all the four seats.
BJP put up impressive performance in Jammu and Kashmir by winning three seats out of six and even Ghulam Nabi Azad and Farooq Abdullah could not save their seats.
