PUNE, Aug 1: City’s Chandrakant Shirole has been elected on the 18-member international umpires panel for the FISA World Junior Rowing Champions ’99 which will be held in Bulgaria from August 4 to 8.
Shirole is council member of the Rowing Federation of India from Maharashtra. He is also a honorary treasurer of the Maharashtra Olympic Association and has been involved with rowing since the last 20 years. He has also been an Asiad official in India.
