“We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr. Bhupender Awasthi and Dr. Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible,” they added.
Intrigued by the unique name, we reached out to an expert to learn more about it meaning and significance.
According to Pandit Jagannath Guruji, Vedavid is an “uncommon name with a significant meaning and distinction”. “The name Vedavid comes from Sanskrit, which means ‘knower of the Vedas’ or ‘one who understands and embraces sacred knowledge. The name Vedavid is derived from ancient India and Hindu philosophy, and it denotes knowledge, wisdom, intelligence, understanding, and a strong connection to spiritual heritage,” Guruji told indianexpress.com.
According to the astrologer, the “name holds great significance, indicating vast prosperity and limitless auspiciousness for a lifetime”. “Going deep into the roots of Hinduism, the name Vedavid can also refer to Lord Ram, Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu, where the child seems to be harnessing positive energies from these powerful deities for a prosperous future,” Guruji shared.
Guruji believes “since Vedavid is not a popular name, its characteristics will help the child to be unique in his own way when walking along the path, both personally and professionally”. “Also, Akshaya Tritiya is an auspicious occasion, so it indicates that the child would grow up to be wise, positive, and spiritual,” said Guruji.
