Varun Dhawan’s recent appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati season 16 gave a glimpse into his life as a new father. The actor who welcomed his first child with childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal in June 2024, also revealed the name of his baby girl.
On the game show, the Bhediya star shared that the couple have named their daughter Lara after singing a lullaby he composed for her. Reflecting, host Amitabh Bachchan pointed out how this Diwali stands to be special for him, saying “Lakshmi ji has arrived at your home.” Responding, Varun folded his hands and thanked him.
Seeking advice from the veteran actor, Dhawan asked if parental duties kept him up at night when his children Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan were young. To this, the Sholay actor replied, “I’ll tell you one thing, just keep your wife happy…If she is happy, everything will go well in life. This is a single formula — Wife is supreme.”
