Assam DEE Teachers Recruitment 2025: Assam’s Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) has released the notification to recruit 4500 school teachers for lower primary and upper primary schools in the state. The application will start on February 20 at the official website –dee.assam.gov.in– and end on March 31.
Among the total vacancies, 2,900 positions are for Assistant Teachers at lower primary schools, while 1,600 positions are for Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers, and Hindi Teachers at upper primary schools. DEE Assam will release separate merit lists for each district and category.
–Candidates who have successfully passed the ATET or CTET (for Lower Primary or Upper Primary schools, depending on the position) are eligible to apply. Either Language 1 or Language 2 of the CTET or ATET must correspond with the medium of instruction of the school to which they are applying.
–Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not older than 40 years as of January 1. There will be a relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
–Individuals with more than two living children, born after January 1, 2021 (from either a single partner or multiple partners), are not eligible to participate in the recruitment process.
