Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was on a three-day visit to Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari, performed prayers at the site on the third and final day of his trip, a video released by BJP on X showed.
PM Shri @narendramodi performed ‘Dhyana’ at the Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanniyakumari, Tamil Nadu, the post reads.
In the video, Modi is seen wearing a ‘dhoti’ with ‘japa mala’ in his hands performing prayer and meditation.
The Prime Minister had on May 28 announced his meditation retreat from May 30 to June 1.
PM Modi is in the fray for the ongoing voting in phase seven of the Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi. The results of the elections will be announced on June 4.
Modi’s visit to Kanyakumari mirrors his previous spiritual sojourns. In 2019, he had taken a meditation retreat at Kedarnath in Uttarakhand post campaigning.
