Two self-styled commanders and a ‘Dalam’ member of Maoists today surrendered before the police here.
A Maoist couple — Pasham Parvathalu alias Ganesh and his wife P Swaroopa alias Kavitha,both carrying a reward of Rs 2 lakh on their head,and a Dalam member of Jangoan Area Committee M Raju alias Prathap surrendered before Warangal district Superintendent of Police Syed Shah Nawaz Qasim.
The couple were allegedly involved in various offences.
A group of Maoists led by Ashanna,who carried out an abortive attack on former Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu at Alipiri in Tirupati in 2003,stayed at the residences of the couple at various places in Hyderabad and Nellore town,the SP told reporters.
