Indian Railways, Amrit Bharat Express: Good news for passengers. Indian Railways (IR) is introducing an Amrit Bharat Express train connecting Bihar and Tamil Nadu. The new Amrit Bharat Express will run between Jogbani and Erode Junction. The Amrit Bharat Express train is meant for low-income and middle-class families.
The Jogbani-Erode Amrit Bharat Express train will commence its inaugural run on September 14. It will run as train number 06602. This new train will cover a distance of 3,129 km in 63:50 hrs.
During its inaugural run on Sunday, this new Amrit Bharat Express will stop at 50 railway stations. These are: Forbesganj, Araria Court, Purnea, Katihar, Naugachia, Mansi, Khagaria, Begusarai, Barauni, Shahpur Patoree, Hajipur, Sonpur, Patliputra, Danapur, Ara, Raghunathpur, Buxar, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Chunar, Vindhyachal, Prayagraj Cheoki, Jasra, Darbhaura, Manikpur, Satna, Maihar, Katni, Jabalpur, Gadarwara, Pipariya, Itarsi, Jujharpur, Ghoradongri, Betul, Nagpur, Sewagram, Chandrapur, Balharshah, Mancheral, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Ongole, Gudur, Nayudupeta, Perambur, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai Junction, and Salem.
The Jogbani-Erode Amrit Bharat Express train will run at an average speed of 49.01 kmph on its inaugural run on Sunday.
The Jogbani to Erode Amrit Bharat Express train will begin its journey at 15:30 hrs on Sept 15. It will arrive at Erode on September 18 at 07:20 hrs.
The Jogbani-Erode Amrit Bharat Express train will be composed of 22 coaches. LWSCNPP-8, LWSPP-11, LSLRDPP-2, LWCBPP – 1.
