PM Narendra Modi sends strong message to Pakistan, thanks people of Balochistan

Prior to that, setting an analogy between Peshawar terrorist attack and the recent Jammu and Kashmir unrest, PM Modi attacked Pakistan for trying to interfere in India’s internal matters. “When innocent kids were killed by terrorists in Peshawar school, our Parliament was shedding tears and the whole country was shedding tears for them. This is our culture and tradition,” said PM Modi.

He also mentioned how Pakistan observed ‘black day’ after the killing of Burhan Wani. “There are some who celebrate killing of innocents by terrorists and glorify them. What sort of terror-inspired government is that, the whole world knows about it,” he added.

The Prime Minister’s comments come at a time when leaders from both the countries have been in a war of words. The situation worsened after Pakistan accused India of human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir and hailed Wani as a leader of Kashmiri masses.

Earlier, on August 14, Pakistan President Manmoon Hussain had also raised Kashmir issue in his Independence Day speech and said that Pakistanis will continue to support them.
