Election Results Haryana: Congress leader Jairam Ramesh wrote to the Election Commission, alleging an “inordinate and unacceptable delay” in updating trends for the Haryana assembly elections.

In response, BJP National spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi stated that this was an indication that the Congress had already conceded defeat.

" If Jairam Ramesh has already started saying this and pointing fingers at Election Commission, then we should understand that they have accepted their defeat...as per the trends going on, I feel that we are moving towards an important victory and Congress has started taking precautionary measures for their future defeat," he said.

Election Results Haryana: After 10 rounds of counting, Vinesh Phogat is leading from Julana constituency having secured 45,293 votes. Yogesh Kumar of the BJP is in second place with 41,151 votes.

In a post on X, Congress general secretary in-charge of communications, Jairam Ramesh, stated, "Like the Lok Sabha elections, in Haryana we are again witnessing slowing down of uploading up-to-date trends on the ECI website."

He added, "Is the BJP trying to build pressure on administration by sharing outdated and misleading trends @ECISVEEP?"

The latest trends from the Election Commission indicate that the BJP is leading in 49 seats, while the Congress is ahead in 35.

Election Results Haryana: In the Karnal assembly constituency, Jagmohan Anand of the BJP is currently in the lead with 32,052 votes, followed by Sumita Virk of the Congress with 18,970 votes. Sunit Bindal of the Aam Aadmi Party is in third place with 669 votes.

Speaking to reporters in Rohtak, former Chief Minister Hooda stated, “The Congress will get a majority.”

When asked if his party would need any support to form the government, he reiterated, “The Congress will form the government on its own.”

He further emphasised, “The credit will go to Rahul Gandhi ji, Mallikarjun Kharge ji, Priyanka Gandhi ji, and other leaders,” adding that "real credit goes to the people of Haryana."

Bhan was leading by a margin of 1,919 votes from his nearest rival and BJP nominee Harinder Singh.
