The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will soon sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) allowing opportunity to its students to interact on global issues.
Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar made the announcement on Monday as he addressed students of the IIT Bombay on the topic “role of youth in nation building”.
Stating that this MoU will take 30 days to factify, Dhankhar while addressing students, said, “You will have the occasion to interact with one of the finest institutes that deals with global issues. In turn you will also be able to help people from within the country and outside who can have discourse with you.”
During his speech, Dhankhar insisted that students from IIT Bombay are among those who will play pivotal roles in the country’s journey towards Developed India 2047.
“Various technologies are going to change the world. And we can take a lead in this,” he told students.
