Chandigarh U-15 probables announced
Chandigarh: The Cricket Federation of Chandigarh affiliated to Cricket Federation of India has announced the probables for the coaching camp for upcoming Under-15 nationals to be held at Chennai in Tamil Nadu from April 24 to 27. The camp will begin from April 18 at Banyan Tree School,Sector 48-B,Chandigarh. All the selected players are required to report to coach Inderjit Singh at 10.00 am. Players should bring along their original date of birth certificate.

Half-marathon race today
PANCHKULA: Swami Devi Dyal Group of Professional Institutions will organize state level half-marathon race which will start from Swami Devi Dyal Hi-tech Education Academy in Barwala,on April 18 in morning. The race will cover distance of around 21 kms. Over 1000 participants are expected to take part in the race. Olympian boxers,Jitender Kumar and Akhil Kumar will grace the marathon.
Cricket trials today
CHANDIGARH: The trials to select the Chandigarh Under-19 team will be held on April 18 at 3.00 pm at Guru Nanak Public School,Sector 36,Chandigarh. The team will take part in the Punjab State Inter District tournament organised by PCA. The players who are born on or after September 1,1990 will be eligible for the trials.
St Kabir claim first position
CHANDIGARH: St Kabir School,Chandigarh secured the first spot with 20 and half points in the ICSE Inter School Chess Tournament hosted by Saupin’s School at th school premises in Sector 9 on Friday.
