A 27-year-old first-year LLB student was allegedly stabbed to death in South Delhi by his 15-year-old cousin after they sparred over the student’s buffaloes taking dumps in their colony, police said.
According to the police, the student’s family lives alongside his uncle’s. The accused juvenile, along with his brother and parents, have been apprehended, the police said.
“The deceased lived near his college at a rented accommodation. He had come home during the weekend,” a police officer said.
His father sells buffalo milk and owns five-six of them, police said, adding that on Friday morning, after the animals took a dump on the street, the deceased’s uncle and his wife complained to him regarding the same.
“An argument ensued. The law student’s cousins also got involved. One of them, aged 15, allegedly stabbed him,” the police officer said.
“A PCR call was made regarding the incident. The student’s sister, an eyewitness, alleged that he was stabbed by their uncle, his wife, and sons. CCTV footage corroborated a prior quarrel involving the deceased and the accused,” DCP (South) Ankit Chauhan said.
