Doctor ‘harassed’ by her driver in Noida; accused arrested

A 36-year-old doctor was allegedly sexually harassed by her driver on her way back from work in Noida on Monday night. Police arrested the accused on Tuesday and sent him to judicial custody.

“On November 20, I reached my clinic around 5.45pm and after consulting with patients, I left… I was heading towards my home and as my car arrived near Spectrum Mall around 9.25 pm, my driver…harassed me by touching my feet inappropriately. I sensed that his intentions are wrong, so I asked him to stop the car,” reads the FIR.

Police said the accused has been working for the complainant for the last 2.5 years, adding he does not have any criminal history.
