Three persons,including a Delhi Police constable posted with the Ashok Vihar traffic circle,have been arrested for the alleged kidnapping and gangrape of an 18-year-old girl in West Delhi on Friday. A woman,who the girl said facilitated the crime,has also been arrested. A fourth accused,an MBA graduate,is absconding.
According to police,the incident was reported on Friday evening when the victim had gone to the PVR complex in Vikaspuri. The victim alleged that she was kidnapped by Ajay and Satyendra who took her to a flat that belonged to the Delhi Police constable Praveen Kumar. There,the girl said,the three took turns to rape her.
Police said the victim knew all the accused. The flat,where the girl was taken,is in Dwarka,police said.
The girl also claimed that the crime was facilitated by a woman later identified as Kiran Kalia. The girl and Kiran are both residents of West Delhi.
A case under sections of gangrape and kidnapping has been registered against Kumar,Satyendra and Ajay. Kiran has been booked under the immoral trafficking act.
