Bihar Elections 2025: Soon after the BJP-led NDA finalised the seat-sharing formula for the Bihar elections, Rashtriya Lok Morcha chief and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha expressed his displeasure over the seat allotment.
RLM chief Upendra Kushwaha, after the meeting, said, “This time, nothing is well in NDA.” Samrat Chaudhary could be seen avoiding the media’s questions after the meeting.
Kushwaha on Wednesday said that he would go to Delhi. “There needs to be some rethinking on the decisions being made in the NDA. I am going to Delhi to hold talks on the same. I’m hopeful that everything will be fine.”
Nityanand Rai, a BJP leader, said, “Just like Upendraji has said, everything is fine and everything will be fine soon.”
Earlier on Tuesday, Kushwaha had posted on X: “The issue of seat allocation among NDA parties has been resolved through amicable discussions. The discussion on which party will contest which seat is also in its final stage with positive talks.”
The NDA on Sunday had announced the seat-sharing formula for the elections to the 243-member assembly. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) and the BJP will contest 101 seats each, while Union minister Chirag Paswan’s LJP (Ram Vilas) will fight on 29 seats.
Union minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustan Awam Morcha and RLM were allocated six seats each.
