There are post graduate courses as well. MCom,MSc (mathematics,bio-technology,bio-informatics,information technology and microbial bio-technology) and MA (English,Punjabi and economics). A new course in MSc clinical research and data based management studies will also be starting this session. The course still awaits the syllabus from the university.

Infrastructure

The college building consists of two modern four-storey blocks – Arts Block and Science Block,providing an academic campus with different departments. The existing college infrastructure is further being augmented with a post-graduate block. It will comprise of twelve lecture theatres,faculty rooms,classrooms,a cyber-cafe,a placement cell and an office of the Alumni Association.

LIBRARY

The college campus maintains a library which supports the academic programmes of the college and serves as a center for studies and learning. Apart from general books the text-book section has also been well stocked for the benefit of students who cannot afford to buy these books. There are more than 42,000 books in the library.

Hostel

The college provides spacious and well equipped hostels within the campus. The boys hostel has accommodation for nearly 200 students while the girl students share the hostel with Guru Gobind Singh College for Women.

Add-on courses

The college offers the following career oriented add-on programmes for BCom at first-degree level that have been sanctioned by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The students are awarded certificate (after one year studies),Diploma (after two years studies) and Advanced Diploma (after three years studies) on completion of the respective period.

Vocational Course

The College also offers a vocational course in ‘Functional English’ at the first-degree level. Admission to this course is purely on the basis of merit.
