This festive season, the Fruit and Food Pavilion at the CII Chandigarh Fair 2025 has been the biggest attraction. The Shri Shyam Tilpatti Udyog, a 37-year-old sweet shop, has brought age-old Rajasthani flavours like Gajak, Tilpatti, Tilsakri, and Rajwadi Barfi to the fair.

“More than just a sweet shop, their stall is a cultural showcase — complete with traditional attire and a longstanding legacy at the CII Chandigarh Fair,” a statement by the organisers said.

Big brands & local flavours

Renowned names like McCain, Bonn, Orika, Savour, and Smart Bazar are lighting up the fair with exciting “buy one get one free” offers and live-tasting counters.

Among the standout local ventures is Maalana, founded in 2018, which invites visitors to relive their childhood with the tagline “Bachpan ka Swad”.
Their handcrafted delights include Katlis in five unique flavours, Imli ladoos, Aam papads and Rose coconut pedas.

Wellness finds at the pavilion

Health-conscious visitors can explore a dedicated wellness section featuring organic and clean-label products.
Highlights include Gunaar Premium Millets’ roasted grain chips and innovative rajma-beetroot crisps, and Aurganicum, Tricity’s first wood-pressed oil brand, offering oils made using age-old techniques. Discover rare finds like Lakadong Haldi from Meghalaya and Afghani Hing or enjoy a curated organic tea tasting with House of Veda by Bonn. Other standout brands include Maharishi Ayurveda, Agranix International (gluten-free, vegan options), and Five Rivers by Punjab Agro, promoting homegrown organic goods.

For those craving regional specialties, the pavilion offers a flavourful tour across India.

The Kerala Chips stall offers wonderful local varieties of murukku, banana chips and halwa while the Gujarat Roasted Namkeen store is offering 70-plus products, including achaars, kachori and crunchy namkeens.
