With various expos ranging from decor, lifestyle to arts of various states, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is all geared up for its four-day fair, from Friday to Monday, at the Parade Ground in Sector 17, Chandigarh.
Since its inception in 1995, the fair has grown into the region’s largest and one of the most awaited pre-festive shopping extravaganza.
Spanning a massive 16,000 sq m, and featuring 300+ exhibitors from 15 states, the event will encompass shopping, culture, and entertainment — all under one roof.
Running daily from 10 am to 8 pm, the 2025 edition offers a host of new attractions, a plastic and honk-free Chandigarh campaign, and a special spotlight on MSME exhibitors, who make up over 30 per cent of participants.
The fair will be inaugurated at 1:30 pm on Friday.
What’s new
Sustainability First: This year, the event highlights Chandigarh’s vision of a “Plastic-Free City” and “Honk-Free City”, with increased awareness about eco-conscious living, public safety, and green consumerism.
Health and CPR awareness: In collaboration with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), daily CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) awareness sessions will be held every evening, in a bid to empower citizens with an emergency lifesaving procedure performed when the heart stops beating.
There will be six concurrent expos too.
Decor and interiors — Furniture, linen, bath fittings, clocks, murals, crafts
Fruits and food Show — Processed foods, snacks, beverages, sweets, and organic brands
States of the country — Handicrafts and cultural exhibits from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, West Bengal
Auto show — Fuel-efficient vehicles from Hyundai, Maruti, Kia, Isuzu
Lifestyle expo — Fashion, jewellery, health and wellness, beauty, herbal products
Home appliances — Innovations from Karcher, Eureka Forbes, Godrej, Sujata
Multi-cuisine food court
One of the crowd favourites — the food court — will once again serve up a mix of traditional Indian street food and global cuisine. From snacks to sweets, health drinks to desserts, there’s a flavour for every foodie.
