Chief Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of Bal Sakha Yojana as an integral part of the Chiranjeevi Yojana. Under the scheme,arrangement will be made for proper check up of newborns and infants by paediatricians. The main aim of the scheme is to bring down the Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR).
