The theme this year is centered around the Vidhana Soudha and the legacy of Chief Minister Kengal Hanumanthaiah, with a model of the Vidhana Soudha itself standing eighteen feet high and thirty-six wide. (Express Photo by Jithendra M)

The displays at the festival take other directions too - one display, for instance, represents 30 years of the Chinese practice of Falun Dafa (part of the discipline of the persecuted Falun Gong group) represented by an arrangement of yellow chrysanthemums. (Express Photo by Jithendra M)

The entry fee of Rs 70 and Rs 30 will be charged for adults and children, respectively. On holidays, adults will be charged Rs 80. However, the show is free for children in school uniforms. (Express Photo by Jithendra M)
