Around 2.90 lakh students had registered to appear in the examination out of which 2.51 lakh regular students appeared in the exams.

This year, girls have outperformed boys by scoring an overall pass percentage of 90.51%, whereas boys scored 83.96%. Kajal of K.C.M. Public Senior Secondary School, Nidana, Rohtak topped the HBSE class 12 exams by scoring 498 marks.

Last year, exams were cancelled and students were assessed in an alternate manner. Due to this, the overall pass percentage was recorded as an all-time high of 100 per cent. In 2021, even in the alternate form of assessment, girls had outshined boys.

In 2020, nearly 1.70 lakh had cleared the class 12 exam out of 2,12,693 students and 80.34 per cent of students had passed the exams in regular mode and in private mode, the pass percentage was at 64.83 per cent.
