US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene lashed out at President Donald Trump on Friday, accusing him of attacking her, lying about her and trying to intimidate Republicans ahead of a planned vote to release documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. In a lengthy post on X, Greene wrote: “President Trump just attacked me and lied about me. I haven’t called him at all, but I did send these text messages today. Apparently this is what sent him over the edge.”
Greene alleged that Trump was “coming after me hard to make an example to scare all the other Republicans before next week’s vote to release the Epstein files.”

I worship God… and I serve my district GA14 and the American people.”
Greene’s comments came shortly after Trump announced he was pulling his support for the Georgia lawmaker. “I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the great state of Georgia,” he posted on Truth Social late on Friday.
Trump criticised Greene for what he described as constant negativity, writing that all he sees her do is “complain, complain, complain.”
According to Reuters, he said their conflict began after he shared a poll with her indicating she had little chance of winning a Senate or gubernatorial race without his endorsement – support he said he had no intention of giving.
The president suggested that voters in her district could consider backing a primary challenger and said he would support “the right candidate” against her in next year’s midterm election.
Greene argued that the rupture stemmed from her push for transparency on any Epstein-related records held by the administration. Trump has previously dismissed renewed public scrutiny of Epstein as a “hoax” promoted by Democrats, according to US media reports.
