Trump threatens to jail adversaries if he wins US presidential election

Trump claims the election will be under intense scrutiny and extended the threat to lawyers, political operatives, donors, illegal voters, and corrupt election officials.

Trump also announced he would establish a government efficiency commission, led by billionaire Elon Musk, if he wins the November 5 election. He made the statement while outlining his economic vision at the New York Economic Club.

Additionally, Trump warned that American universities promoting what he described as “antisemitic propaganda” could face losing accreditation and federal funding under his administration.

Trump has been convicted in New York for falsifying business records and is facing several other legal cases, including charges related to his efforts to overturn his 2020 defeat.

Despite these legal challenges, he remains focused on the November 5 election, where polls indicate a close race against Harris.

While Trump’s aides urge him to focus on campaign issues like inflation and border security, he continues to revisit old grievances, including allegations of sexual misconduct and legal battles.

The single debate between Trump and Harris will be held on Tuesday, hosted by ABC.
