Bhajan tunes have taken inspiration from Bollywood and remixes for the longest of time. So much so that in the 2010 movie ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge’, Paresh Rawal’s character starts off with a bhajan set to the tune of the popular item number “Beedi Jalaile”.

But the one that’s really picked up pace now is a remixed version of the popular song ‘DJ Wale Babu’ by Badshah.

According to the credits in the video, the audio track is by Radio City 91.1’s RJ Aadi. Uploaded as a “religious DJ song”, the bhajan is actually quite catchy. Now, it remains to be seen if more people end up singing the original or the bhajan.
