Watch: Telangana woman comes under moving goods train, escapes unhurt

Trespassing on railway tracks poses threat of fatalities and while the Indian Railways keep warning commuters about the life-threatening consequences, many still ignore the warnings. In one such incident, a woman in Telangana narrowly escaped death after she was caught under a goods train. The incident happened at the Nawandgi Railway Station in Telangana.

In a video shared by X handle Aadhan Telugu, the woman can be seen lying on the railway tracks as a train passes above her. According to the post, the tribal woman was crossing the tracks to reach the platform when she noticed the train approaching her. However, instead of panicking, she lay in the middle of the tracks, let the train run over her, and got up after the train passed through.

On Sunday, a video of an elderly man sleeping with an umbrella on a railway track in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj was widely circulated on social media. According to reports, the man was found resting on the tracks and fell asleep. The loco pilot who saw the man from a distance had to halt the train. However, the man did not wake up and continued to sleep.

Last month, the Railway Protection Force (RFP) arrested a YouTuber for placing numerous objects on railway tracks for reel videos. The YouTuber was arrested from the Khandrauli Village in Uttar Pradesh.
