Telugu actor NT Ramaswamy assaulted: After a screening of Anjan Ramachendra’s new film Love Reddy in a Hyderabad theatre, a woman stormed the stage and attacked N T Ramaswamy, the actor who played the villain in the movie.
In widely shared videos and photos from the event, the woman can be seen charging onto the stage, where the cast was seen interacting with the audience. She approached Ramaswamy and slapped him before grabbing him by the collar. Clearly taken aback, Ramaswamy was stunned as his fellow actors and security personnel quickly intervened to protect him. The woman persisted, pushing and heckling the actor while demanding to know why he troubled the lead couple.

Reports said that the woman was expressing her anger towards the character in the film for causing a rift between the lead couple played by Anjan Ramachandra and Shravani Krishaveni. She was overheard questioning the actor vocally about “his” decision to disrupt the relationship between the two leads.
It’s no surprise that the visuals from the shocking event have taken the internet by storm. Numerous users denounced the incident, highlighting the importance of distinguishing between “real” and “reel.” But some doubters, who saw it as just a publicity stunt, speculated that the whole thing might have been staged.
One user wrote, “Scripted for free promotion.” Another wrote, “it might be a publicity stunt.” A third user commented, “Aunty got confused bw reel and real.”
Some users even found humour in this. An individual commented, “What women wanna do with Vanga after watching animal.” Another wrote, “Man’s acting was so good that auntie couldn’t hold her anger (with laughing emojis).”
