‘Tauba Tauba’ fever: Jamie Lever’s imitation of Bollywood celebrities’ possible reaction to Vicky Kaushal’s viral song is a must-watch

Jamie Lever, content creator and Johnny Lever’s daughter, never fails to give her fans a good laugh. After winning hearts with her version of Heermandi’s Alamzeb, Jamie hopped on the ongoing Tauba Tauba trend. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri, the peppy song is from the upcoming movie Bad Newz, which also has Amy Virk in a pivotal role.

In the now-viral video, the Lever imitated several Bollywood celebrities and their possible reactions to the viral song. Starting with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jamie captures the actor’s voice, personality and nuances. She then mimics Farah Khan, Sridevi, Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Rakhi Sawant.

Sharing the video, Jamie wrote, “TAUBA TAUBA fever.”

Shared on July 10, the video garnered over 12 million views and won plaudits from several social media users and celebrities. Reacting to it, Tripling actor Amol Parashar wrote, “Jamieri favourite Tauba Tauba reel.” Neil Nitin Mukesh dropped a laughing emoticon in the comment section.

“Omg you are fabulous how talented you are,” a user wrote. “Omg. u sounds so lovely. I really love it can I keep it especially the last one rakhi Sawant,” another user commented.

“You are so talented,” a user reacted.

Sung by Karan Aujla, Tauba Tauba features Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri. The song has triggered a frenzy on social media as Kaushal’s dancing prowess is receiving rave reviews. Notably, the actor has earlier wooed his fans with his moves on Punjabi beats including Gadiyan Uchiya Rakhiya.

Bad Newz, directed by Anand Tiwari, marks the first collaboration of the trio and will hit the silver screen on July 19. Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Meghna Gulzar’s biographical war-drama Sam Bahadur. Tripti Dimri, on the other hand, won praise for her performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
