Star Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma has appeared in a new advertisement for Swiggy, the food-delivery app, with his wife Ritika Sajdeh. The ad showcases a couple’s cooperation in running a household. The commercial is winning hearts on the Internet.

In the ad, Sajdeh is seen scrolling through her phone and asking Sharma, sitting with him, if he wants to order something. She asks, “Instamart kar rahi hun, want anything?”

Sharma, who couldn’t verbalise the item he wanted to order, makes a hand gesture and says, “Woh.” However, Sajdeh deciphers his gesture and adds disposable cups to the cart. Similarly, Sharma uses hand gestures to explain more grocery items he wants to order. While this captures how well Sajdeh understands Sharma, this is also him cracking a joke on himself.

There have been many videos of him referring to things and ideas with “Yeh” and “Woh” (this and that) instead of saying exactly what he means. A video of his colleague Virat Kohli mentioning this habit of Sharma in an interview had also gone viral recently.

Sharing the video of the ad on Instagram, Sajdeh wrote, “Caption Ro caption. Adding badaam to the cart to.”
