Former India cricketer and coach Ravi Shastri on Wednesday set a ‘thirst trap’ on the internet, creating a hullabaloo on social media. Shastri started with a photo of him in a bathrobe captioned as, “I am hottie, I am naughty, I am sixtyyy.”
Sharing another photo of him sitting in a steam room, he wrote, “Does this photo qualify as a thirst trap?”
Take a look:
In the third photo, Shastri can be seen wiping his face with a white towel, and wearing a blue bathrobe. “Your girl doesn’t need to see my face to know it’s me,” he wrote on X.
After setting social media abuzz, Shastri finally dropped his new advertisement for a travel company with former India cricketer Virender Sehwag. The video opens with the duo wearing bathrobes with their initials on it and going in for a spa. Shastri begins his commentary, however, he’s stopped by Sehwag who reminds him that they are in a sauna box and not a commentary box.
Sharing the ad, the India coach wrote, “Not sure who is the hottest here.. me, Viru, or the steam.”
Within an hour, the video garnered over 31,000 views and several reactions on the platform. Reacting to it, a user wrote, “You are the more hottest.. Sehwag has no hair he needs to transplant.” Another user joked, “Only temperature is hot nothing else.”
“What’s craziness going on,” the third user wrote. “There should be a case study on ravi shatri and his obsession with commentary,” another user reacted.
