Imagine never having to leave your bed, even while commuting. Well, one man has turned that dream into reality by transforming his bed into a fully functional vehicle. A video of this bizarre yet hilarious creation is going viral on Instagram, racking up nearly 60 million views.
The clip shows a man from West Bengal casually steering his bed down a busy road, much to the amusement of passing bikers. It’s not just any bed—it’s fully equipped with a mattress, bedsheet, and pillows, but with a quirky twist: side mirrors attached near the legs of the bed. The driver sits inside the bed’s storage chest, gripping a steering wheel that controls the wheels underneath, which aren’t visible in the video.
At one point, he even stands up and strikes Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic arms-wide-open pose before sitting back down and smoothly driving away.
The Internet, of course, has plenty to say about this unusual ride. ScoopWhoop joked, “Need this to take a nap in BLR traffic.” Another user commented, “This can only be seen in India.” Someone else said, “Lagta hai yahi sab dekhne ke liye ham 349 ka recharge karvate hai (Looks like this is what we recharge for Rs 349 to watch).”
