“It was the convoy of His Excellency the Governor, who has Z+ security. The motorcade moves at high speed, and despite being warned by the police, the individual still approached the convoy. You are unidentified-why are you going near the convoy? An investigation has been ordered into this matter,” Raghuvanshi said.
The incident did not sit well with numerous social media users, who slammed the policeman’s action. “it’s not new, every day picture of poor people here,” a user wrote. “This is horrible,” another user commented.
“Power should protect, not humiliate. A traffic cop kicking and slapping a man just because a Governor’s convoy is passing by? This is not law enforcement; it’s misuse of power. The common man’s dignity is not expendable,” a third user wrote.
