A video of a clash between a passenger and a ground staff member of Lufthansa Airlines at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport is doing rounds on the Internet. The viral video shows the passenger asking the staff why she was denied boarding.
The video opens with the ground staff leaving her cubicle and asking a fellow staff member to call the security. The passenger, while making the video, asks the staff to answer her query. “I am telling you very politely. I am calling the security,” the staff can be seen telling the passenger.
“What you are doing, that is anyway not allowed. You cannot take the direct flight. If you want to know the rules, go to the German embassy,” the staff says as the passenger continues to film her.
On being asked if she is aware of the travelling rules, the passenger says, “No, I am travelling from the last four years.”
The video ends with the ground staff calling security and asking the passenger to tone it down. “I have already called security. Ma’am please wait, you won’t travel,” the staff says.

The video accumulated over 2,80,000 views. When a user tagged Lufthansa India on X, the airline responded saying they are “investigating this case and are in contact with the people involved”.
Reacting to the video, a user commented, “This happens when Airlines are overbooked and they find a way out by such unethical means to pin down on the customer to throw them out (so they do no board the flight) so that the airlines do not get caught of overbooking when everyone shows up.”
“That attitude she is carrying, she misunderstood her self with immigration officer I doubt. Check passport/visa, Print tickets and take baggage that’s all she suppose to do,” another user reacted.
