CCTV footage from Rajasthan’s Mount Abu showing a leopard entering the garden of a house has gone viral. The big cat entered the residence and attacked a pet, a Labrador Retriever.

The clip begins with the dog entering a garden area. A leopard leaps from behind and attacks the dog. The intense struggle shows the big cat biting the dog’s neck and maintaining its grip. The dog can be seen trying to break free.

As the fight unfolds, a woman’s screams distract the leopard, prompting it to release the dog and flee the scene. The dog chases after the leopard before returning to the garden to the woman, who then takes the dog inside the house.

According to an NDTV report, the incident occurred around 9 AM in the Sunrise Valley apartment complex, a paying guest accommodation in Mount Abu.

Sharing the video, an X user wrote, “Shocking incident in Mount Abu as a panther attacks a dog near Forest Eco Lodge. This has raised safety concerns among tourists, especially after similar incidents in Udaipur. Stay alert and follow safety guidelines if you’re visiting!”

The alarming footage has heightened concerns about tourist safety in the region, urging visitors to remain vigilant and adhere to local wildlife safety protocols.
