Japan travel vlogger Kiki Chen was stunned when she landed at the Terminal 2 of Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. Upon her arrival there, Chen shot a reaction video that is stirring up attention on social media with over 16 million views.

In the now-viral video, Chen gives a tour of Terminal 2 of Bengaluru’s Airport, showcasing event spaces, entertainment areas, Nicobar Lounge, and more. Sharing the video, she wrote, “With outdoor retail, event spaces, and entertainment areasIndia’s best airport terminal! Everything built with bamboo even the checkin counters.”

“Can’t believe I was in the airport at India,” the text on the video read.

Responding to the video, a user commented, “Was awarded most beautiful airport terminal last year.” Another user wrote, “We should be proud because other country people are appreciating us.”

“Why is this girl acting like india can’t have good architecture?” a third user wrote.

Terminal 2 of the Bengaluru Airport is constructed in collaboration with landscape architects Grant Associates and designers Abu Jani/Sandeep Khosla. According to its official website, the terminal is envisioned as a “terminal in a garden” and is built in 255,000 square meters. The ceiling is made of layers of cross-laid engineered bamboo.
