A heart-warming video of Rajasthan Royals (RR) player Riyan Parag welcomed by his mother after the win against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 has left social media users emotional. Shared by the official handle of RR on Instagram, the video shows Parag’s mother waiting for his son at the hotel.
The video then shows her welcoming Parag with a warm hug and kisses his forehead. Sharing the video, RR wrote, “No one loves you like your mom does.”

The video has accumulated 6.4 million views on the platform, leaving the internet users teary-eyed. Riyan Parag was born to former cricketer Parag Das — who represented Assam, Railways and East Zone cricket team—and Mithu Baruah—who was a national-level swimmer. Parag was a part of the Indian Under-19 team, which won the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his Twenty-20 debut for Assam in 2017 for the 2016-17 Inter-State Twenty-20 Tournament. He later made his first-class debut for Asaam in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy.
