ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has begun and cricket fans are gearing up for the much-anticipated India-Pakistan clash on Sunday, February 23. With Pakistan hosting the tournament, the stakes are already high, but a recent prediction by Abhey Singh, now known as IIT Baba, has left Indian fans worried.
IIT Baba, who gained viral fame at Mahakumbh Mela 2025, in a video, declared that the “men in blue” would not emerge victorious against Pakistan. “Main tumko pehle se bol raha hu, is baar India nahi jeetegi (I am telling you beforehand, India won’t win this time,)” he stated with certainty. He even called out Indian players, including Virat Kohli, insisting that no amount of effort could change the inevitable outcome.
Doubling down on his claim, Baba also said, “Ab maine mana kar diya hai ke nahi jeetegi to nahi jeetegi, ab kya bhagwaan bade ho ya tum bade ho (Now that I’ve said India won’t win, it won’t happen. Are you bigger than God now?)”

The video has been making rounds on social media platforms. On Instagram, UNIBIT Games posted the video, and it garnered over 16 million views already. Responding to the prediction, a user said, “Zada padhai karna bhi khatarnaak hota hai (Studying too much is also dangerous.)”
Another user wrote, “He believes in karma, we believe in sharma.” A third user said, “Bro’s helping Verb is ehehehehe.”
Singh has a history of making bold claims about cricket. In the past, he even suggested that he had a hand in India’s T20 World Cup 2024 victory. He claimed to have spoken to Rohit Sharma via an invisible network, convincing him to hand the ball to Hardik Pandya.

Abhey Singh, now famous as IIT Baba, is an IIT Bombay graduate with a degree in aerospace engineering. Once settled in Canada with a high-paying job, he reportedly gave it all up to walk the path of renunciation. His unusual journey has since turned him into a social media sensation.
