Nikhil Sharma, lifestyle influencer, who has recently become the father of a girl, had an overwhelming day when he had to get a passport photo of his child. As newborns tend to sleep most of the time, the photoshoot took hours to get completed. Sharma shared a clip showing him holding the baby in a white background and getting her photograph clicked.
The clip shows him being seated and holding the newborn in his arms. The baby blinks her eyes and smiles while the camera flashes. She is seen being held against a white background and Sharma is seen carefully holding her.
In the text insert of the clip, Sharma said the child was only 12 days’ old when they took her passport photo. “My daughter was only 12 days old when took her passport photo. It took hours to get the right photo as newborn tends to sleep most of the time,” read the text insert.
He also mentioned trying white clothes on baby seat in the caption. “It was such an overwhelming day. It looks easy but it was so challenging. We even tried putting white cloths on baby seat and click pic but it was a fail. So this was the only method we could use .Do you remember how old you were for your first passport photo ?” read the caption.
The clip has amassed more than 3.8 million views on Instagram since being shared on April 24. Some users recounted their experience of getting their babies’ photograph while some others asked him not to use camera flash upon the baby.
A user commented, “We got our daughter passport pic at 30 days.. and it was clicked while she was pooping in her diaper.” Another user wrote, “We took our son’s recently at 5 days. He have the best pic in minutes…fluke ofcourse 😅 but it took us 3 hours to get the right thumb print from him.” A third user wrote, “never use flash to new born babies.”
