A heartwarming video of a Delhi Police officer jamming with a street artist in Connaught Place is going viral on social media. The video captures the officer singing “Deva Deva”, a popular song from the movie Brahmastra, alongside a group of young men, one of whom is playing the guitar. Originally sung by Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi, the song features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Shared by an Instagram handle @thewhatup, the viral video shows the cop, in his uniform, singing along with the guitarist while several other men surround them and record the moment. “Delhi Police held an impromptu jamming session at CP,” the caption read.

The video quickly gained traction, with several users cheering the cop. “Poor Sheeran, he had to go to Bengaluru,” a user wrote. “Hum kre toh hume bhaga dete hai (They ask us to live when we perform in CP),” another user noted.

“Omggg!! Aww,” a third user cheered.

In July, another policeman won hearts with his singing skills. A video of the cop using a musical approach to reprimand a traffic violator took the Internet by storm and garnered millions of views and plaudits. The officer, Bhagwat Prasad Pandey, pulled over an e-rickshaw driver in Madhya Pradesh for operating his vehicle without a proper windshield. Rather than issuing a conventional warning, Pandey opted for a light-hearted yet impactful method. He sang his message to the tune of the popular Bollywood song “Humko Sirf Tumse Pyar Hai.”

In his impromptu performance, Pandey sang, “Chacha, sheesha kyun nahi laga? Chacha, sheesha kyun nahi laga? Ek mah mein, teen baar hum, tumko ye bata chuke hain chacha sun lo tum” (Uncle, why haven’t you installed a windshield? In just one month, I’ve told you three times, please listen.)
