Darshan Magdum, who first gained attention as a social media singing sensation, has now earned a spot alongside Maroon 5 during their next tour in India. On December 3, 2024, at the band’s debut Mumbai concert at the Mahalaxmi Race Course, Adam Levine, the lead vocalist of Maroon 5, gave Magdum a special shoutout.
Levine spotted Magdum from the fan pit and expressed his admiration for the cover artist’s renditions of their songs. “We’ve seen you on the Internet singing our songs,” Levine said. “I want you to know we love you. Next time we come back here, Darshan is going to get on stage with us, to sing a song. Next time, for sure. I don’t want to put any pressure on you right now. But thanks for coming to the show.”
Magdum took to Instagram overnight to share his excitement, describing the moment as “unreal.”

The video went viral amassing over 11 million views in just hours of being posted on the social media platform. Responding to the post, one user wrote, “We are going to get a Darshan x Maroon 5 collab before GTA 6!” Another user said, “Bro stonks, Indian guys making fun of him while outsiders are loving him.”

During Maroon 5’s debut performance in India, Levine made another fan’s day unforgettable by inviting her on stage and giving her a hug. The emotional fan, clearly moved by the moment, shared that the band had played a significant role in her “journey”.
