A 10-ft-long crocodile was seen wandering in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr after it crawled out of a canal. A video of the reptile trying to climb over a railing is now doing rounds on the internet.

According to reports, the crocodile crawled out of the Ganga canal near Narora Ghat. In the viral video, it is seen trying to climb over an iron railing, attempting to return to the water. However, it fails and lands on the ground.

Sharing the video, an X wrote, “UP: This crocodile came out of Ganga canal in Narora of Bulandshahr district. The forest department team reached there and rescued it and released it back in the canal. Crocodile brother, it is hot here, stay in the water.”

The video has got over 1,12,000 views and some hilarious reactions. “Crocodile, it’s very hot here, go back to the canal,” an X user reacted. “Everyone knows who can handle this crocodile,” another user joked.

In another video, forest officials can be seen covering the crocodile’s head and trying to tie its limb. They then get ropes to tie the reptile’s legs.

In December 2023, an adult tigress was spotted resting on the boundary wall of a farmhouse in Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit. As news spread, locals arrived to catch a glimpse of the tigress. Forest officials were promptly informed and they set up a security cordon around the area using nets and captured the animal.
