The Internet has been buzzing with videos from Bengaluru that demonstrate “Peak Bengaluru” moments. A new clip featuring a woman riding a scooter without a helmet has caught the attention of social media users. However, it’s not her breaking the traffic rules that’s grabbing eyeballs—it’s the fact that she’s riding her scooter with an unusual companion: a parrot perched on her shoulder.

Shared by an X user, Rahul Jadhav, the viral video shows a woman wearing a red tee and black pants, riding a scooter with a macaw parrot on her shoulder. Another woman can be seen riding a pillion. The video seems to have been recorded by a commuter in an auto-rickshaw amid the bustling Bengaluru streets. “Never a dull moment in Bangalore,” the caption read.

The video prompted a range of reactions, with one saying, “Balancing act by all. Is it road’s test drive passed.” Another user commented, “This parrot said something.. have you heard?”

“Please penalize this woman, don’t encourage this type of behaviour,” a third user said.

Early this week, a video of a couple performing a reckless motorcycle stunt in Bengaluru triggered a backlash. The viral video showed a man riding a motorcycle without a helmet on Sarjapur Main Road while a woman was sitting on the fuel tank, facing him.

“A reckless bike stunt isn’t a display of love—it’s a violation of the law and a threat to public safety. Sarjapur Police have registered a case against a techie and his partner for dangerous riding. Strict action will follow,” SP Bengaluru District Police responded to the video on X.
