Social media is buzzing over a wild claim made by an X user named Ankit, who says he landed 111 matches on a dating app within just 10 minutes while waiting at Bengaluru airport.
On Sunday, Ankit shared a screenshot of his match list, with profile pictures covered by emojis for privacy. The screenshot shows the “Chats” section with “Your matches” sitting at a whopping 111. “10 minutes of bored swiping at Bangalore airport is all you need,” he captioned the post, leaving users both amused and sceptical.

In just a couple of days, the post has racked up over 2 lakh views and sparked a flood of reactions.
A user wrote, “It could be a good case study I tell you.” Another user asked, “Is that even interesting like how do you decide who to swipe and who to not?”
A third user quipped, “99.99% would be scammers with fake accounts. Looks like scammers know his bank balance.”
Ankit followed up on his viral dating app strategy, addressing the flood of questions he had been getting. He claimed that racking up over 100 matches per hour is “pretty reasonable” and that some of his students manage to get six to seven times that number.

According to Ankit, the first step is setting age preferences to women over 21. Then comes the real trick: “Don’t swipe. Buy premium. Swipe only on people who swipe on you. This keeps your likelihood to match (elo) as 100%.”
For profile photos, he had some specific advice. Pictures with animals? A good idea—but not dogs. “Dogs are out of fashion. I do equestrian, so that helps,” he wrote. He also stressed the importance of good lighting in photos, warning against using dark or poorly shot images.
