The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the results of the Civil Service Examinations 2023 on Tuesday. Aditya Srivastava and Animesh Pradhan scored AIR 1 and 2 respectively, followed by Donuru Ananya Reddy at the third spot. Amid the buzz around the UPSC Civil Services 2023 results, a video of the top rank holder Aditya Srivastava celebrating with his friends is winning hearts on social media.

Shared by IAS Awanish Sharan on X, the video captures the moment Srivastava learnt about his results. His elated friends lift him and walk around the Indian Police Service Mess. “The joy of being a topper,” IAS Sharan wrote.

The video has amassed over 1,51,000 views, prompting congratulatory messages from many users on social media. “His friends are happier than him, for him. That’s camaraderie,” a user commented. “Congratulations champ,” another user wrote.

Now IAS, Aditya Srivastava took to his X handle and wrote, “Living my dreams.”

Meanwhile, 24-year-old Nausheen cleared the Union Public Service Commission’s civil services examination in her fourth attempt. Speaking to indianexpress.com, she opens up about the question a panellist asked her during the personality test. “One panellist asked me to name two historical events that I wish never happened. I told them one would be the world wars and the other is the colonisation of African and Asian countries. The latter is one of my favourite topics and I spoke at length about it,” she said.

This year, a total number of 1016 candidates have been recommended for appointment. The roll number of qualified candidates has been released by the UPSC on their official website – upsc.gov.in. The candidature of 355 recommended candidates has been kept provisional.
