Gossip Girl and You star Penn Badgley has set the Internet ablaze after a video of him dancing to the popular Bollywood song Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai emerged on Instagram. The actor, currently promoting the highly anticipated finale season of Netflix’s You, has left his Indian fans in awe.
The viral video shows Badgley dressed to the nines in a beige-coloured pants-suit, grooving to the Hrithik Roshan-Ameesha Patel hit song, showing off some quirky moves. Originally sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik and composed by Rajesh Roshan, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai is among the most popular Bollywood songs of the 2000s.
Sharing the video, an Instagram handle @qualiteaposts wrote, “I honestly could watch this all day.” Although several fans pointed out that the video is actually a fan edit, with Penn Badgley originally dancing to Anxiety by Sleepy Hallow, it hasn’t stopped the video from captivating the actor’s fans.

With over a million views, the video racked up a sea of reactions. “Joe Goldberg after changing his identity for the 17th time,” a fan commented. “THE gossip girl dancing to a bollywood song is all I needed,” another fan wrote.
“Joe’s next victim is Hrithik Roshan,” a third fan wrote. “Wait, is Joe coming for an Indian girl now?” a fourth user commented.
Meanwhile, the fifth and final season of You is set to premiere on April 24, 2025, on Netflix. All 10 episodes will be available for streaming worldwide. In India, the season will be accessible from 12.30 PM IST on the same day.
The filming for Season 5 began in March 2024 and concluded in August 2024, primarily in New York City. The season was initially scheduled to release in 2024 but was delayed due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes, according to reports.
The last season will also star Charlotte Ritchie, Madeline Brewer, Griffin Matthews, Anna Camp, Frankie DeMaio, Tati Gabrielle, Amy-Leigh Hickman and Kathryn Gallagher in key roles.
